Amanda's Apprentice
Savannah's education in photography does not happen from the sidelines. She works alongside Amanda inside Amanda Marquis Photography, learning the craft through daily studio experience, hands-on photography, The Marquis Method, and direct mentorship.
She is learning how Amanda approaches posing, lighting, angles, expression, session preparation, client communication, client comfort, session flow, and the overall photography experience. Savannah is developing those skills while also building her own eye and creative voice.
The goal is not for Savannah to become a copy of Amanda. The goal is for her to learn the foundations, standards, and experience Amanda has built while growing into a photographer with a voice of her own.
Amanda's Right Hand in the Studio
Savannah is not someone who occasionally steps into the studio for a session. She works full time with Amanda Marquis Photography and is part of the day-to-day client experience.
She helps clients begin their journey through consultations, works alongside Amanda inside the studio, and leads photography sessions of her own. That means Savannah sees the entire process, from the first questions a client asks to the moment the camera comes out, she is learning how every part of the experience works together.
She is not outside the Amanda Marquis Photography experience. She is growing inside it.
Savannah Knows What It Feels Like to Step in Front of the Camera
Savannah has experienced Amanda Marquis Photography from both sides of the lens. She has modeled for Amanda. She has gone through the boudoir experience herself. And she genuinely loves the experience.
She understands what it is like to stop being the person behind the scenes and become the person being posed, photographed, and guided. That experience gives Savannah another layer of perspective as she develops as a photographer. She is learning what makes an image work behind the camera while also understanding what the experience can feel like from in front of it.
Learning More Than Where to Put the Camera
Savannah's apprenticeship includes The Marquis Method. The training is more than technical photography. It includes the broader methodology Amanda uses around posing, lighting, client experience, communication, preparation, creative decision-making, session flow, and business professionalism.

You are not expected to arrive knowing how to pose. You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to practice expressions in the mirror. And you do not need to arrive already feeling completely confident.
The photographer's job is to guide you. Savannah is learning and applying the posing, movement, angles, expression, and session-flow approach Amanda has developed through years inside the studio.
Your job is simply to show up. Let the studio guide the rest.

Savannah's growth as a photographer is not happening separately from Amanda Marquis Photography. She works beside Amanda full time, apprentices directly under her, and continues developing through The Marquis Method while leading sessions of her own.
Amanda remains part of Savannah's professional development as mentor and educator. Savannah is building the technical skill, creative judgment, and client experience necessary to continue growing toward mastery as a photographer in her own right.
