Stepping in front of a camera can feel vulnerable. Amanda Marquis Photography exists to remove the pressure of needing to know how to pose, how to look, or how to perform.
Clients are guided before and throughout their session, with direction that meets you exactly where you are. From the studio in Bedford, New Hampshire, Amanda and Savannah offer Boudoir, Plus Size Boudoir, Specialty Photography, Personal Branding, and Creative Portraiture.

Meet Amanda Marquis
Amanda received a pink 35mm camera from her mother when she was 11, and photography stayed with her from that moment on. After encouraging her son to follow his dreams, she realized she needed to take her own advice, and with a nudge from her wife Jenn, she became a full-time photographer.
Today she owns Amanda Marquis Photography and educates photographers through The Marquis Method. Her work centers on guided posing, lighting, client connection, confidence, and body positivity to create a safe, supported photography experience.
Meet Savannah
Savannah works full time with Amanda Marquis Photography. She is a Junior Photographer training directly under Amanda through The Marquis Method, and she handles her own photography sessions.
Savannah also conducts the initial photography consultations for clients, and she works closely alongside Amanda using the same posing, lighting, preparation, and client-care methodology that defines the studio.
She has modeled for Amanda and has personally experienced being photographed by her, including the boudoir experience, which gives her perspective from both sides of the camera.
Savannah is not an outside photographer or contractor randomly assigned to clients. She is part of Amanda's full-time photography team.

Savannah works full time alongside Amanda, trains directly under her through The Marquis Method, and leads her own sessions using the posing, lighting, preparation, and client-care approach that defines the studio. Amanda remains behind Savannah as she continues refining her craft.

What You Can Expect Here
Every session is built around guided posing, movement, angles, expression, preparation, support, comfort, and privacy. You do not need modeling experience, posing experience, perfect confidence, or a particular body type.
You simply need to show up. The guidance handles the rest.
Behind the Scenes
Want to know what it actually feels like once the camera comes out? This behind-the-scenes footage was captured in 2019, before Amanda Marquis Photography moved into its current studio space. The location may have changed, but some of the most important parts of the experience have not: guidance, laughter, intentional posing, music, movement, and a photographer willing to do whatever it takes to find the right angle.
